What is the Savvy Teen Academy?
The Savvy Teen Academy is a four-day intensive Summer Camp focusing on Careers, Communication and Confidence for teenagers. Monica, Susan and the #SavvyTeenAcademy team have the skills, qualifications, experience, critical advice and practical activities that you need to thrive and thoroughly enjoy the years ahead. It’s a high focus four-days of learning where you will learn how to:
- Make a great first impression on a potential employer
- Speak so that others will take you seriously
- Study efficiently
- Build self-confidence and resilience
- Manage your online presence
With the pace of work and life nowadays, there may not be enough time to concentrate on and help teenagers through key areas like, how to manage their finances, how to communicate and speak with confidence, how to articulate themselves in writing and how to protect themselves online. The Savvy Teen Academy is there to encourage young people to follow their dreams and to discover where their strengths and areas of challenge lie.
The question is where do the teenagers of today see themselves in 20 year’s time, will they be happy in their chosen career? Will they have made the right decisions?
