Newbridge House and Farm is an historical mansion and a working farm, just 25 minutes North of Dublin City! We are open daily year round for tours by families, school groups and more. During school breaks we offer exceptionally fun camps for kids!
The aim of “Nurturing Nature Camp” at Newbridge House and Farm is to give children an opportunity to connect with nature and the outdoor environment!
We do this by using our farm, park lands, walled garden, and natural surroundings to provide a range of enjoyable experiences and opportunities for active learning and play. Some of the activities we all enjoy at camp include:
Foresting, Nature-inspired Arts and Crafts Projects, Dancing, Farming and interacting with animals. We also love learning about Yoga, Exploring our Historic Mansion, going on adventurous scavenger hunts and plenty more!
At Newbridge House and Farm kids will get a chance to imagine themselves as part of a different and simpler way of life, reconnect with the outdoors, learn how we care for farm animals in a humane way, and generally enjoy the simpler pleasures of getting to explore the best part about being kids!
“All of the activities were great and he enjoyed them all – this camp is great for children” Parent of child that attended camp during Easter.
Give your kids a different kind of enjoyable camp this summer! Send them back to Nature and our working farm to give them a taste of the good old days, and bring a little history to life for them! Book today as camp spots are limited and, based on the sell out that was our Easter camp sessions, you’ll want to make sure you can guarantee a spot for your child or children, and their friends!
